Recruitment guide
This is a general template, which can be used by anyone who wants to post a recruitment post. One won't have to include all the info mentioned here, but the info he/she thinks is just fine for the desired location.
The design of this template is based on the default template supplied on the gamedev.net forums.

Brief description
Version 1
Our goal is to develop a medieval first person shooter called OpenFrag along with an editor called Anvil and our content distribution system OpenCDS. Read more about us. The new release wave is coming up, so stay tuned. Check our forums for more than daily updates. The best way to contact us is through IRC.
Version 2
OpenFrag is a medieval fps created by the OpenFrag team. It will contain both multiplayer and single player, although multiplayer is the most important part. The final single player demo is aimed to be released in june, after that a multiplayer demo will follow. We have been at a few game shows like Xplay 2006 (Finland).
We have a very dedicated, skilled and active programming team. So the coding part of OpenFrag/Broken alliance is completely taken care of. Since the demo is approaching we are currently in need of descent artists.

Talent Needed
Above all, OpenFrag is meant to be a learning experience for everyone; including us! This means that everyone, even those who don't have any specific knowledge in creating computer projects or games can, with the right motivation, have a lot of fun here. It's a matter of finding out for yourself what kind of specific part(s) of creating a game attracts you the most. We're always here to help you with whatever problems or questions you have.
If you have always figured that developing your own game would be nearly impossible then here is the chance to experience it yourself, and have a lot of fun reaching your goals. Developing a game model takes us from drawing the concept to a finished 3d model and then texturing and animations will have to be applied, a real challenge that requires a lot of energy but is more than rewarding. Sound effects and music have to be created to fully submerge the players into the game. And Coding is needed to add game functionality and glue all the content together into one cohesive computer application.
